One thing to be aware of is that this Alexa is a bit larger than previous models and takes up a slight bit more space. Great device, but wake words need improvement The Echo Dot works well overall — sound is good, setup is easy, and the device responds quickly. My only real complaint is the wake word options. Every wake word is two or more syllables, which makes commands slower than they need to be. I prefer fast, efficient interactions, and a one‑syllable wake word like “Dot” would make a big difference. It would reduce friction and make the device feel more natural to use. I hope Amazon adds shorter wake word options in a future update. good value
