The ones to buy. The price you can’t beat and the hoses and valves looks and feels like high quality.
These are cheap hoses! But, priced cheap, too! These are cheap hoses. but, in all fairness, the price is cheap, too. The rubber seals/gaskets at the end of the hoses did not last long at all. The knurled nuts at the end are small and not so easy to get tight. But, again, in all fairness, they were half the price of Yellow Jacket hoses. For me, I should have spent the money for the better hoses. I use them every day doing HVAC work. While not the best hoses, they weren't priced like the best. So, in all honesty, they are not bad. But, for me,
Seem to be high quality and high pressure... These hoses and fittings appear to be high quality and high pressure for R410A refrigerant. The fittings appear to be brass and it came with extra O-rings, valve core remover, and a couple of extra valve cores.
Great for budget, and beginner HVAC techs The hoses do well for the price. They feel a bit cheaper than others, but work great, and the valve shutoff hose additions are a must for these hoses. I use them with my fieldpiece manifold. The only issue I have is that the high side hose lost its rubber gasket after only a few uses. Good thing they come with replacements.
Junk I wouldnt get these if I were you. I needed cheap hoses fast and gave these a try. Worked fine except for when I unhooked them from the air conditioner the gasket flew out of the hose. They just sit in there with nothing holding them in place. Luckily it didn't go far and I recovered it but I will be buying yellow jackets shortly. You get what you pay for.
Very well made I was skeptical about the price, and was thinking it might be a cheaply made product. I was considering a Robinair set for much more, but I’m glad I didn’t. The hoses and crimps are quality. The Schrader valve dimples are solid brass, not cheap bent sheet metal and the hose gaskets are the green nitrile style not the generic black. All of the fittings have thick knurling and feel solid when installing. The kicker for me was the inline shutoff valves were included (which also feel quality) alo
Good value and quality. My old hoses had leaky/missing seals, pinholes and just needed to be replaced altogether. I’ve had these hoses for about a week now and being a service technician, they are holding up pretty well. Awesome that it comes with the shut off valves for each hose to prevent refrigerant loss, and minimal leakage when connecting to service ports. The backup seals, schrader cores, and core removal tool are also a bonus, for this price i’d definitely recommend. Not too sure about longevity yet but so far
