Seed starters! I'm using these little guys to start the herb seeds I was given as a gift. These are easy to use--add water, allow to expand, put in planter, add seed--but if you're a beginner they do come with instructions to follow. I found that half of each pellet was plenty each compartment in the small starter trays I am using. I'll be hardening off the starts this week and transferring them to the tower planted.I really found these to be convenient for seed starting, and there's so many of them that I'
Coco coir is essential for my container garden! I moved from a single family house to a condo with a small patio. But my urge to garden moved with me. So it’s a container garden from now on and coco coir is on the list of soil amendments that I rely on.Containers dry out quickly and last year’s heat made watering a constant chore. Coco coir is the best thing that I’ve found to help with water retention. Coconut husk pucks, quick and easy soil ready when you need it This review is for the 50 piece case of coconut husk pucks. This set includes 50 pucks made of compressed coconut husks. They can be used for as soil for your garden or as an addition as you don’t have to water as often and it naturally breaks down into rich soil nutrients.I was really impressed with how clean and easy these were to use, and they take up almost no space when you're storing them in their little box. When you need them, just put them in a small bucket of water and finish gatherin
Less messy packaging of basic soil. Good for when you need smaller quantities without a big mess. These are pretty good for the price. These are essentially a soil mix in individual small packets, so they are good for having small amounts of soil on hand without a big mess. I have been using them in seed starting trays and they are working well.I am taking off one star just for the item being over hyped and sold as something that it is not, which is nutrient rich soil. This is basic soil. That can be good or it can be bad. It is bad if you want an all-in- one solution where you put a seed
