• This Is The One I Searched For • I studied dozens of toasters before making this purchase - this one had the features I was looking for, a small enough footprint and an easy to clean finish and crumb tray.It performs Exactly as promised!! INCONSISTENT TOASTING, TOO LIGHT OR TOO DARK, NOT WORKING NOW I bought this for it's many features. Initially, it did not toast properly. It was either too light or too dark - on the same settings. It does have several 'toast color' settings, and the knob 'clicks' between each of these pre-set toasting colors - BUT IT DOESN'T VARY THE TOASTING. Set it on 4-1/2 and you still get 4. I tried 'manipulating' the way it toasted, but putting it through one toasting on light and then repeating this to get the color I wanted, but it then just burned it around
Works but labels wear off completely We love this toaster for our family. Especially the fact that it can fit up to four slices of bread at a time. We've had this for several weeks now and it still works great. My only complaint are the labels next to the buttons have all completely worn off and you can't see what the button labels are anymore. Also, the power cord comes out of the front which is odd, and it makes it awkward for plugging it in on the countertop.
