Research before you buy This tray requires that you have a supporting structure upon which to put the tray. It is not a good fit, for instance, at the trailer tongue area.
They work Needed larger trays when adding bigger house batteries to our boat. These work fine. Although I think I prefer a solid clamp the straps are heavy duty and seem to be up to the task for our usage.
Recheck the size of battery before you order It is of high quality and very rugged. Unfortunately the battery I wanted to use this tray for did not fit for me. No fault of the tray.
Good group31 battery tray Fits group31 lithium battery like a glove. Tie down strap is good, easy enough to get under when the tray is screwed down.
Works great when combined with adjustable hold down. This product worked great in conjunction with a hold-down (Uriah Products UV002500 Adjustable, Universal Crossbar, Battery Hold Down) to secure a deep cycle, Group 31 marine battery in my boat. The strap that comes with it works fine, but I had an issue with battery acid rotting a strap, so opted for replacing the strap with a tie-down purchased separately.
Wow just wow the best battery box ever This is the strongest, well thought out battery box I have ever seen and with all the baots I have owned and do own I have seen many. The strap is nice and feels real nice and the clip is great, love the logo on the strap and the 4 end mounting points are so strong you don't need centers because the way its designed, less holes in a boat the better.I purchase the group 31 for my group 29 battery for my new trolling motor on my 17 carolina skiff. I also purchased the group 27 for my 2020 enclos
Love lighter weight, good aH time Combined with good aH time and likely much longer life, the lighter battery is easier for an aged man to handle. Hardest job was replacing smaller base box with a larger one. Battery is great and worth the higher price.
Group 31 (Battery Size) - bottom tray w/strap Battery sizes can be complicated, I didn't even know what group 31 means but I found out that it is the size of our RV's cab battery. I didn't like where the battery sits natively so I purchased the plastic bottom and strap to better secure it's position. Voila`, this was a terrific solution that fit my needs.I am thrilled with the purchase and feel it was a great value overall. The build quality, durabilty, and expected life of the components is solid and unpredictable unless damaged. The fit a
