30000hr light life, and ruggedness of 'On and Off' times! Setup and run....Right outa the box!The remote is a bit 'Dainty' for the price of the overall package. Just have to be mindful of it...Not get rough with it.Plays on the off-white stucco wall nicely. Very satisfied with it.
Cheap junk It arrived broken, which may or may not have been the companies fault. The box was banged up. The unit felt frail. The system seemed to have a laser out. I had a black line every inch or so across the projection. The remote was the same type I got with led candles. A cheap feather weight thing with a blister plastic buttons. I will never buy optoma again. So disappointed with the quality.

Look for a machine with a better picture. Overpriced. The picture was not the best. The unit was very basic for the price.

3 weeks old I have used it for 3 weeks. Simple, reliable, bright. I will report later.
New vs. Refurbished? I ordered new but this looks like a refurbished machine. Security seal was broken and everything inside looked repackaged.
Great Short Throw Laser Projector I’ve noticed that reviews here are for various projector models so this review is for the GT3500HDR. I have a 144” portable screen I use for outdoor movies and sports. I was in need of a new projector at a reasonable price. 4K short throw laser projectors were too expensive so the Optoma 1080P was in my price range. Even better, I bought it as an open box on Amazon for less than $1000 and when I received it the box was sealed and never opened, so I got a great deal. The maximum suggested screen d
