I finally am sleeping. First things first, I read so many reviews. I mean SO MANY. Reviews on Facebook, Reddit, Amazon. I compared reviews for owlet and the other competitors for DAYS. Trying to decide if I should buy the owlet sock while its on sale. So many people reported issues with connectivity, issues with false alarms, and some people complain that the company feeds on anxious parents wallets. With all of that being said, I have had zero connection issues so far.I havent had any false alarms only notifications t
Peace of mind After debating on getting it throughout my entire pregnancy, I decided to get it after my son was struggling with silent reflux + laryngomalacia. It brought me peace instantly. I have OCD and was worried this would make it worse but it did the complete opposite for me in my situation. Knowing he’s being monitored all night helps me sleep better even if it’s for 2 hour stretches during the newborn stage 😅. It beeps if it’s not reading right which is great. I like how it tracks multiple things. On
Worth the investment Works great! Shows you just the heartbeat rate and oxygen %. It cost 99.99$ a year so if you want to spend that much on it go ahead. The base has to connect to your Wi-Fi so if you travel with it, make sure you at least have a hotspot on or home wifi and a power source to it like a power bank you can hook it up to and still be close to it. Wi-Fi hotspot will also work with it. Just make sure you set it up properly. I have not tried it without Wi-Fi but you can go ahead and see if it works withou
BUY THE SOCK! Love this sock for my baby! It had brought me such a piece of mind and calmed my anxiety. I saw so many mixed reviews about it but i just needed it to be able to sleep at night. Definitely works, love the app - easy to use. It tracks all the of the baby sleeps times and heart rate. Comes with different sizes for the baby's foot. Only bad thing - the sock has to be washed my hand. Other than that I LOVE IT!
Good concept for a torture device for tired parents I was unable to get the app to connect originally, customer service is good though and they were able to help. The 3 stars really comes down to the poor range. It says up to 100 ft but I’ve had this disconnect 5ft from the base station. Nothing like trying to change a poopy diaper or calm a screaming baby and having this stupid thing start beeping every 30 seconds to push you over the edge. The fine print says some things about how it will struggle to read if the babies feeding??? So it’ll go of
LOVE-NEED Update: I purchased this in July of 2024 for my October 2024 baby. It has been used nightly since November 2024. It is now January 2026 and I had my first issue with the sock. It disconnected from Bluetooth and would not reconnect no matter the troubleshooting steps I took. I had to contact Owlet support and the first person I spoke to was very unhelpful and told me I just needed to buy a new sensor (for an additional $130+) and that really ticked me off. I contacted support again and the second
The Best Purchase for Peace of Mind We absolutely love our Owlet sock! My baby is 4 months old now, and she has worn it every single night since birth. It gives me so much peace of mind and has become one of those baby items I couldn’t imagine going without. She doesn’t seem to mind wearing it at all, and I love all of the insights the app provides. The daily sleep reports are helpful, and I especially appreciate the tips and trends it tracks over time. One feature I use more than I expected is the temperature tracking. It’s been g
Amazing product! My husband and I absolutely love the owlet sock! We have been using it since our baby was born and it truly gives us peace of mind during night time and naps!Although there are some “false alarms” which is never a danger (aka red low oxygen or heart rate) one but more so difficult reading (yellow) ones because of bad placement or when baby is kicking or moving a lot. We never ever really get difficulty sleeping (purple) alarms. People tend to give up because of these false alarms but the pros tr
