Nice Product, Decent Sound, Alexa Plus Needs Improvement This is the first Echo product I purchased. While I find it useful to have Alexa control my lights with my voice commands and being able to have AI available to ask questions any time one pops up, the product has pros and cons. On the Pro side, the sound is good, not mind blowing, but good. There is definitely room for improvement. Also, I do like that there is a button on the device that allows me to mute the mic on the device whenever I wish to. Setup was pretty easy. Also, it has a built in
Project Echodotmaxhattan Not sure how such a power is packed in this small body, but compared to other bigger and more expensive speakers I've had before, this tiny ball beats them all (I've had two Google Music Nest speakers and Sony SRS XE300).I was in search for primarily compact speaker that both looks good, and has a decent sound, for my living room tv cabinet. I've had bigger speakers before, but they were either too big or I didn't like sound at all. All the smart assistant features were on last place by importan
Great Sound and Easy Smart Home Setup This Echo works great with our Ring doorbell and made everything super easy to connect and use together. The sound quality is much better than expected for the size, with clear audio and surprisingly good bass. One thing I really like is that there are different Alexa voice options and styles so you can customize it to what you prefer. Setup was quick, it responds well, and it has been a great addition to our home for music, timers, weather, and notifications. Definitely worth it!
Echo Dot Max 2026 Review - June Today, my Echo Dot Max arrived, and all I can say is the experience with Alexa has been amazing. Unlike my Google Nest Hub 2nd gen which i unplugged yesterday, it does scream Sorry I don't understand. I can tell right away that Amazon commits more to Alexa, the features that user's use and you can tell that the Amazon team really cares about their quality unlike Alexa, is actually competent enough to actually understand what I want and when I ask questions she does not default to sorry, I don't
Good speaker Purchased this to replace a 1st generation echo spot which is not compatible with new Alexa+ format. It worked fine, but never had great sound like many of the echo devices do. I have multiple echo devices including several 1st generation shows, echo 15, echo 5, echo 8, echo dots and echo studio. The 1st generation shows (which still work great but are not Alexa+ compatible), the echo 8 and echo studio speakers have exceptionally good sound quality. The echo 15 sadly does not which is a bumme
Must-have accessory for home and office This is my fourth Echo Dot, and I keep buying them because they just work well. I have two in the office and two at home, and this newest model has great sound for its size. The bass is noticeably stronger, the room-filling sound is impressive, and Alexa is quick and responsive. It is a great fit for living rooms, offices, and medium-sized spaces. Easy setup, reliable performance, and a strong upgrade over earlier versions.
Can't replace defective Echo - Fixed ? The Echo Dot Max works great when it works. The Echo goes dormant daily requiring a reset. I've reset the device including Factory reset followed by configuration. After a short period (30 minutes to 12 hours), it goes dormant again. The Amazon returns process for this item gets hung up and I keep going in circles. Very frustrating. It is a great little speaker with a great sound - when it works.I'd love to replace my Echo but the Amazon systems do not work.Update: My Echo Dot Max has not failed
Thoroughly Impressed I purchased two Echo Dot Max speakers with stands. One for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. I already installed Amazon Basic Smart LED Light Bulbs in the living room and upstairs bedroom. Having already set up the Alexa App on my phone with WIFI connections, the Echo Dots took less than 3 minutes to set up. The automatically synced with my Alex App, downloaded a firmware update, and were ready to go once I grouped them according to their location in my home; one for the living room and
