Reasonable luggage for a reasonable price. I've been on the search for the "perfect" luggage for twenty years. Changes in size restrictions, weight restrictions, etc. have complicated matters. Add to that the frustrations of finding sturdy handles, interiors that actually keep belongings in place, and exteriors that will hold up to being tossed around... well. Those are all factors that make mine an ongoing search. The last round of soft-sided suitcases developed some tears. The last round of hard-shell suitcases began to detach along the
Delsey luggage is great - this is a perfect size to sneakily carry on! I'll say off the bat that I far prefer to travel with a backpack; why give up 7, 8, or 9 pounds in luggage weight allowance for a spinner when you can just strap 2 pounds of fabric to your back instead?Well, I'm getting older and creakier and I have a back condition so the backpacking days of my youth are pretty well behind me. At the same time, I prefer to go carry-on only no matter the trip duration, and I unfortunately mortally wounded our last Delsey spinner during a spring trip (we limped i
Great Suitcase I have several of these bags in different size or for other family members. Have used the carryon size to travel all over the world multiple times, dragged across cobbles, carpet, stairs, running to the train, in the rain, etc. I pack it super full at expanded zipper size and then usually force that zipper closed. Have carried bottles of wine, shells, all kinds of stuff and no breakage. At least 10 international trips with dozens of shorter flights and train rides. It is a little scuffed up now
Held up well for 12 years These are Polycarbonate so their life span should be 3-5 years heavy use and 5-8 years with moderate use. I bought these (a 29, 25, and 21 inch) in March 2014, added a second 29" a couple years later (during Southwest's hey day of 2 free checked bags). I am a frequent traveler (5-6 air flights a year) so the 12 years I've had so far make these top notch. I'm just now replacing them...not because they've finally worn out or broken down but because TSA has thrown thrm around so much they are sc
Great bag for travel Showed up on time and very sturdy! Already used the checked bag for a trip.
Great line of luggage, we travel nonstop and they have heald up great! We have had this suitcase for about 3 months, my partner and I travel a lot for work and pleasure so I did some extensive research on the pros and cons of hard luggage vs soft and the different types of wheels etc. This Aero Delsey line was always one of the top rated and made just about every travel blog luggage rating list I saw. We bought a whole set, the 29", 25" and 2 of the smallest ones the 19" that has the outside pocket and can fit in a overhead bin. I would recommend getting the 3rd pa
Lightweight, Compartments and Spinner Wheels From someone who has traveled internationally frequently, reviewing a checked bag (24")1. 10lb weight unpacked. Even some carry-on's weigh that much. So....if you are limted to 50lbs (45 even on some airlines, you'll want to save weight. This bag is nice and light despite the hard sides.Because you DON'T repeat don't don't pack to the limit. I let my traveling buddy do this just once and it was DISASTER. She overloaded on the way back (of course!) and I was tossing stuff into my (underloaded bag
Holds everything for a 7 day casual trip I got this bag to match the larger Delsey Paris checked bag size I already have and love. I love the red color. The checked bag is instantly recognizable on the turnstile. This carry-on bag is as great as I was hoping it would be. It has a zipper compartment on one side for things that might move around. Just zip that side closed and nothing’s moving. The other side has straps to secure your folded clothing. There are also 2 smaller zipper pockets to secure smaller items.I travel fairly frequentl
