So handy! Does wonders for utility room. I can iron, or use as folding station. Like that it's 42" long. Took me a sec to figure out how to attach hooks!! Will send pics soon. Stabilized it with velcro. Got that idea from another reviewer, and it works great!! Forget about the iron holder. I tossed it. It's irrelevant. I love this handy little board; and, it's out of the way when not in use!!
A bad decision for my place Think it through before buying this. A door-hanging board may not be your best option, an in-closet-hanging board might be better. Problems I encountered with this board:(1) My doors won't shut with this ironing board hung on them, so I have to store it in a corner taking up space.(2) Every door I can hang it on to use it puts the room's light behind me, so the clothes I'm ironing are in my shadow, a consequence of door-dependent mounting.(3) If I store it hanging on a door I don't need to fully
Great for limited space! Perfect for my small space! Easy to put up. Highly recommend.
Convenient and sturdy Great space saver and quick standby if in a hurry.
Great ironing board This ironing board is great it stores well over the door for me. I have cats so anything that is out they will use as a bed. This prevents that as it just simply folds up and the cats cannot attempt to jump on it, and it stays clean away from cat hair for me. This is a must.
Decent compromise of function for space saving and accessibility I live in South Beach. About the only thing that we have less use for than irons is socks. Nevertheless I do have some linen shorts and some other things that need some ironing. This is about perfect. I put some Velcro on the bottom legs to keep it from bouncing around every time I open or close the door. The ironing surface is actually larger than I expected. It may feel a bit flimsy but actually it is not. There is some spring action until you press down firmly and then it is a steady surface.
Designed for outside of door but works for inside, iron holder a joke, needs some stabilizing, but overall GREAT BOARD! UPDATE, 8/8/18 (have had this board nearly 4 yrs now & want to update one small detail for anyone who might also have their board mounted on the inside of a door and has experienced the same problem.) Because I have the ironing board mounted on the INSIDE of a closet door rather than the outside of a door, the door has to be open while I iron and the ironing motion made the door constantly move and want to close. I'd been using a bungee cord hooked around the door knob and to a desk behind the
Quality product and Great space saver I was looking to save space in my closet so ordered the Over the Door Ironing Board to see if this would work. It was very easy to install on my door. I did see in some reviews that the frame would bounce against the door when ironing so I added a Velcro strip to the ironing board frame to secure the frame to the door which completely eliminated any movement of the frame when ironing. The ironing board is easy to fold down for ironing and easily stored within the frame when not in use. Insta
