Perfect for Seedlings - BONUS: Deer Hate It! My bottle came in a plastic bag, tightly closed, so I didn't have the spillage issues others have described. I also get this delivered in January or February where heat is not an issue. I grow my seeds in soil blocks which means I have no trays of standing water. As a result, I don't have the smell issues. Once my soil blocks wick up the liquid, things get neutralized or something like that. (My seedling mixture is coir and earthworm castings.) I fertilize seedlings once a week at half the rate

Works well but it’s very concentrated Neptune has always been my go-to fertilizer but you have to hold your breath when mixing it and be very careful with the dilution ratio. This is the 1st time I have ever used it for seedlings. Instead of 1 tsp per cup of water, I used a half tsp and it still burned my tomatoes (at 6 inches tall, they were more mature than seedlings), and caused purple leaves overnight. Also, my bottle was so poorly packaged, it leaked all over the plastic bag it was wrapped in. It’s great stuff, just be careful
Stinks, but my plants love it! I have to admit, this stuff smells pretty strong — definitely not something you want to sniff too closely. That said, I’ve been using it on my indoor plants and they are thriving! Leaves are greener, plants are bushier, and they just look so much healthier since I started using it.If you can handle the smell, it’s totally worth it. My plants are loving it, and that’s all that really matters!
