Doesn’t work I’ve used the product for about two weeks now and it has not helped with the dandruff and if anything has made my head more itchy. I have naturally thick and already pretty soft hair, but after using the product, my hair does not feel soft anymore. I would not recommend it.
Worked well for my low porosity hair! I have a mix of 2c-3a hair, depends on how its feeling, med thick and low porosity. Most shampoo and conditioners dont work well for my hair but ive found many anti-dandruff versions work best with that hair combo. This one is probably the one im settling on for now!
Not great, but decent! I like that SheaMoisture Anti-Dandruff Shampoo uses natural ingredients and feels gentle on the scalp. It has a pleasant scent and doesn’t dry out my hair like some medicated dandruff shampoos. However, while it helped reduce itching, it didn’t completely eliminate my dandruff even after consistent use. It works okay for mild dandruff, but may not be strong enough for more stubborn flakes. Overall, it’s a decent option if you prefer a more natural formula, but results may vary.
Hair started growing again Although I care for my semi-coarse curly hair, there always seems to be a place where it stops growing a little below my shoulders. I now realize it was related to my intermittent dandruff and dry scalp. However, since using this for two months, I've gotten as much hair growth in two months as in one year, and finally made it so my hair is touching almost mid shoulder blades. I've never seen hair growth like this. I've been consistent with my other hair care and my diet/vitamins. I use the whole
Good product Has left my hair feeling soft and clean afterwards, my hair hasn’t had any less dandruff but i solely believe that’s because of my climate and dry scalp. I do feel cleaner after my shower but the dandruff hasn’t lessend
Dandruff control without a bad smell For me, this shampoo is better than Head & Shoulders and Selsun Blue and equal to T/Sal. I switched to this because T/Sal comes in such tiny quantities, and I was hoping that a slightly more natural shampoo might be as good. Turns out it is. Recently bought two more, so once my last T/Sal bottle runs out I'll return to this. The smell isn't as chemical as with Selsun Blue (not that I cared about the smell—that's what conditioner's for). It does dry the hair a bit, so use a conditioner afterward,
Hair is soft and scalp is less itchy I was lucky enough to get to try out the SheaMoisture Anti-Dandruff Conditioner. I didn't have the accompanying shampoo but used one that also has apple cider. I get really itchy scalp in the winter no matter what I do. I've used Head and Shoulders as well as various other brands that claim to combat itchiness and although they do work for the most part, it doesn't take care of it completely. After using the conditioner and having good results, I decided to buy the matching shampoo and I couldn'
It appears to be working ! So I am actually using both the shampoo and conditioner, and so far, these products seem to be helping my issue. I randomly got this very, VERY dry flaky spot on the upper part of one of my sideburns maybe the size of a dollar coin. I truly had (and still have) no idea what it was or if it was even related to dandruff, but decided to try a couple of anti-dandruff shampoos (i.e. Head & Shoulders, and Selsun Blue) which both failed. Then I found this product along with the conditioner, and decided
